Get ready. This week is one of the busiest wino weeks of the year in Spokane. If you’re a wine lover (if you’re not, why are you here), weeks like this make your palate salivate as you prepare to experience 100’s of wines from across the state. In the word, of “the greatest band in the world” this will be some “Crazy, Crazy, Crazy Crazy Nights.” This week’s events allow you to support fantastic charities, bid on auction items, listen to live music, experience local cuisine, enjoy art through downtown or even drink from the comfort of your home in your PJ’s. The ambitious and efficient wino could experience ALL the events for a mere $325.
Taste Washington Spokane Sunday June 6
The premier event of the year is Sunday, June 6 at the Davenport Hotel (5:00-8:30pm). One hundred Washington wineries will be sampling over 300 wines. There is no better opportunity to experience wine as the wine comes to YOU. Along with the wine, twenty-five local restaurants will be showcasing their finest cuisine. This event is a foodie and wino paradise. Experience all this food and wine at Spokane’s historic Davenport hotel. Participants will have the unique experience of mingling with some of the finest small winemakers from Walla Walla, Yakima, Woodinville and more. Along with the amazing food and wine you will receive a Riedel commemorative Taste Washington glass. DrinkNectar will be there as a media sponsor giving away prizes at the prize wheel and interviewing wine makers. Stop by and say, “Hi.”The winery participants and map are now available. It is recommended that you develop a plan of attack. Sampling 300 wines is not a task to take lightly. Visit TasteWashington.org for details.

WAWine World Tasting Event Thursday June 3
Crowds not your style? Finances a challenge? Join with thousands of people across the world as we simultaneously taste Washington wine. You can participate in a few different ways. Visit one of the 100 wineries and wine bars that are hosting events across the state. OR enjoy any Washington wine from the comfort of your home. You can even share your experience with others using Facebook or Twitter. WAWine is an awesome opportunities for awareness of wine, connection with other wine lovers and education about the state wine regions. The cost is FREE, all you need is Washington wine and a computer (if you choose to stay home). Join in from 5-8pm.

Oh, this Cork Dork would love to experience the wonderful wine event that is know as “Taste Washington” to be held at the Davenport hotel in Spokane. It will be tough to pick which ones to visit and taste out of 300 wine in only 3.5 hours, oh what a great tough job, already have a partial list forming in mind. Would love to meet and greet the tops in the industry while tasting the best wine and food Washington has to offer! Cheers!

Love the WA wines! After living in Germany for 4+ years, it’s been hard to not always having the Reislings but we’re learning to “adapt.” It’s definitely not a tough job since the wines are so scrumptious here. We’re getting hooked!

Pleasant Hill Cellars had a Lemberger Rose this year that was fair. I really do like rose’s. The best I’ve ever had, came back with me from Argentina, a malbec rose’. I’ve asked several wineries here in Washington to think about doing one. Please?
Maybe Kiona would do a Lemberger Rose since they make a lot of Lemberger.

What is better than fantastic food, some of the country’s best vino and great conversation. These are the evenings to remember. Would love to enjoy this with my wife. It would be our first real date since our daughter was born 11 months ago.

Two years ago I met my husband, and on that day he introduced me to Wine. I had never in my life tasted wine let alone gone wine tasting. That amazing memorable experience between us lead to our Wedding 4 months later. With our now year old daughter we have not had the opportunity to share our love of wine lately… Winning tickets to this would be an amazing opportunity to bring our love back to life from the beginning!
